2. The short version
This site has no user accounts, no database, and no tracking of its own. The rating calculator runs entirely in your browser — the numbers you enter are never transmitted to us. Advertising cookies (Google AdSense) are only loaded if you actively accept them in the cookie banner, and the site is fully functional if you decline.
3. Hosting and server logs
This site is hosted by Fly.io, Inc., 2261 Market Street #4990, San Francisco, CA 94114, USA. When you visit the site, the hosting infrastructure processes technical connection data (IP address, timestamp, requested URL, user agent) as is technically necessary to deliver the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Data transfer to the USA is based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and/or standard contractual clauses.
4. Local storage (no cookies)
The site stores two values in your browser's localStorage: your theme preference (light/dark) and your cookie-consent decision. These are strictly functional (§25(2) TTDSG), never leave your device, and can be removed at any time by clearing your browser data.
5. Google AdSense (only after consent)
If — and only if — you click "Accept" in the cookie banner, we load Google AdSense to display ads. Provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. AdSense sets cookies and may process personal data (including your IP address) to display and measure ads; data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, §25(1) TTDSG). You can withdraw consent at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer — ads will stop loading from the next page view. 6. Affiliate links
Some pages may contain clearly marked affiliate links. Clicking such a link takes you to the partner's site, which may set its own cookies under its own responsibility; the partner's privacy policy applies there. We only receive aggregated commission statistics, no personal data about you.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21), as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77). Since this site stores essentially no personal data, most requests will be answerable immediately — contact us at the address in section 1 or via the Impressum.
